Retailers Listing Kanye Disc For December

Although there's been no confirmation from Def Jam, Kanye West's new album will be titled "808's & Heartbreak" and will be released Dec. 16, according to listings on Amazon.com and Target.com. 

West unveiled the new track "Love Lockdown" Sunday to close the MTV Video Music Awards. He also performed it last night during a surprise set at a New York showcase for his label, G.O.O.D. Music, which features Consequence, Big Sean, Kid Cudi and GLC. 

The new album quickly follows 2007's "Graduation," which has sold 2.2 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. 

West is off the road until Oct. 22, when he begins a month-long international tour in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He's also working on the production side on Jay-Z's next album, "Blueprint III," expected before the end of the year.
